ABOUT US
Fairview Lake Studios is named for our first home studio located on Fairview Lake in Port Orchard, Washington. Although we have since relocated to beautiful Sequim, Washington, we decided to keep the name to honor our cozy studio on the shores of a peaceful little lake where we began our journey.
We are Brian and Wendy Fuller, the founders of Fairview Lake Studios. Brian has been making pottery since high school many years ago and Wendy joined the ride in 2017 when we decided to turn the hobby into a business. Since that time, we have been lucky enough to have some of our wonderful family members join us - our son Josh and his partner Brittany joined us in 2021 and our son-in-law Evan joined us in 2023. Our youngest Matt likes to help out sometimes as well. We sincerely appreciate the support of our small family business.
We strive to create functional works of art that are practical as well as beautiful. We feel that incorporating beautiful, unique objects into everyday life can help to elevate simple acts like preparing foods or serving a meal. All of our pieces are entirely handcrafted, one-of-a-kind and contain unique variations of patterns and colors. Items are made using stoneware clay and glazes that are lead free and food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Most clay and glazes materials are obtained locally.
